Building foundations, shaping futures.

Discover our unique holistic course that integrates practical craftsmanship with academic and spiritual formation. We're dedicated to preparing students for a life of purpose and virtue.

Who will benefit?

Our course is ideal for young men who have left traditional schooling, feel unsure about their career path,  or are considering a gap year.  It is also well suited to homeschoolers who are looking for trade experience before signing up to a trade, or those looking for an alternative entry path into university. If you're 16 or over, seeking direction, and a hands-on approach to learning, Saint Benedict's Workshop is for you.

What you will achieve?

By completing our course, you will gain a Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (22710VIC), a valid entry path into most university courses. The Cert IV is equivalent to 70 - 74 ATAR, depending on grades. Students will also graduate with a Certificate II in Construction Pathways (CPC20220), a pre-apprenticeship program that covers the key construction trades. Part of the Cert II in Construction involves on-the-job experience, working with other Christian tradesman. More important than the academic qualifications, students will acquire the tools needed to grow as holy man of God, and develop a strong foundation for a life of purpose and virtue.

"Work is a good thing for man – a good thing for his humanity – because through work man not only transforms nature, adapting it to his own needs, but he also achieves fulfillment as a human being and indeed, in a sense, becomes ‘more a human being.’"
